Role purpose
To support the full succession planning mandate, which runs well beyond tax analysis into structuring, drafting and execution.
Key responsibilities
- Legal structuring of family holding arrangements across DIFC, ADGM and RAK ICC foundations, and associated vehicles.
- Drafting: charters, by-laws, regulations, transfer documentation and related instruments.
- Working out transaction mechanics: who transfers what to whom, in what sequence, and at what point.
- Dubai real estate transfers, including the Dubai Land Department dimension.
- Managing the incorporation process through corporate service providers (CSPs), including selecting which CSP to engage for a given structure.
- Coordinating with the India practice on the cross-border tax and FEMA interface.
Candidate profile
- Junior to mid-level, with flexibility on seniority, which will be driven by the depth of relevant experience.
- A purely tax-focused private client profile is not what is required. KCM is already strong on the tax side; what is needed is the full gamut of work described above.
- Experience with UAE foundations and family structures is the differentiator.
